Mark Jones
Mark is our founding Partner. Born in the United Kingdom, Mark began his career in the City of London recruiting in the Banking and Financial markets.
He moved to HK over twenty five years ago to help set up and run one of the top boutique search firms in the region, before founding The Laurus Group, where he built one of the top ranked Alternative teams in Asia. He has been focused on the Alternative Investment sector since 2005.
During his time in Asia, Mark has recruited for many of the top global and regional Private Equity funds, Special Situations teams, RE Private Equity, Secondaries teams and Capital Raising teams both within GP’s and within placement firms. Mark has extensive exposure across the region and has worked on searches across all the key markets including Greater China, Singapore, Korea, Japan, Australia along with many of the smaller ASEAN markets. His tenure in the region and the relationships he has built over that time has allowed him unrivalled access to both clients and candidates
